Trick or Treat Fun

I was very surprised tonight when Sofia only wanted to go to the houses that were on just our street. She said she did not want too much candy! Wow--not what I would have said when I was a child! There was one house that was really scary and she was too scared to trick or treat with out me! All in all, a great night!

Well, clearly I like to forget that I can't record a movie with my camera turned vertical!

Tonight was such a fun night at the Country Fair Carnival. Sofia was a kitty tonight because I knew the mermaid costume would not allow her to run around and do bounce houses, etc. She looked really cute!

Fall Fun Week

So this has been an action-packed week. Sofia is sporting all of her Halloween outfits this week, along with new pjs for pajama day (today). Tonight we went to a Country Fair Halloween Carnival at Church and tomorrow night we are going to be decorating at my office. I am tired! Here are some pics from this school days this week. Today was pj day since the schools do not allow costumes.

Wordless Wednesday

Better late than never

Back in August we took these pictures at the YMCA and I have been so lazy about uploading the cd with the pictures, but I finally got around to doing so. It was fun! Of course, the last thing I want to see is a picture of me, in a bathing suit, enlarged under water!!!

Got Skates?

Sofia and I went rollerskating at the park today--on the basketball court. She has only tried skating a couple of times and it has not been pretty! Today she did pretty good. I skated as well and tried to help her. I made her wear her bike helmet..just in case! Now I used to be a great skater. I mean every Saturday night when I was in high school--I was at the Skate Castle. I was HOT!

Where does the time go?

Wow, time really does fly by. Sofia will be 5 in less than a month. Below a little phoe comparison from when she was about to turn 1 and today. Wow.

Birthday Day Party Invitations

Here are the invitations I made for Sofia's party. I punched a hole in the top corner and tied the two pages together with brown and white gingham ribbon. They have been a big hit so far! I am in all out planning mode right now. Goodie bags, crafts, decorations, etc.!

Zoo Fun

Today was a fun day. The zoo was really crowded though, it is the annual Boo at the Zoo celebration. They had a mascot parade and Sofia was excited to see Roxie from Shamrock Farms (the dairy we visited here). We walked around and saw the sting rays, giraffes, elephants, etc. They have a great Farm area at the zoo and today they had a parade of horses, so it was a great day!
