Halloween Fun

Just added a few more things to the Halloween decor tonight. My attempt at my monogram topiary went so-so. With a last name initial of H--I am sure most folks out here think it is for Halloween.

Just ask Alise....she was sitting next to me when I brought up your blog and the first pic of your topiarary (sp?), I said, "Oooooh!" She said, "What, Mommie?" I love, love, LOVE it!! I agree with the "H", thing, but it was not the first thing I thought of with a last name like Horton.

I'll get Wayne to send you a paypal thingy for the cookbook sometime this week. I can't wait to get my copy!

Did you make the Shepherd's Pie?

Oh, and YES!!! I think red - for Bama - would be very nice on you instead of that dreaded orange!! Ha, Ha!!

I forgot Sophia doesn't like veggies. Oh, well. I'm sure you could leave them out. Meat and potatoes. It works.

Hi there. I lurk here every now and then, loving your bargains, but I just had to say WOW for this post. The topiary rocks! It is beautiful!

I also laughed at your post several weeks ago about Friday night football games. We went to a high school football game here in Nebraska this weekend, and we're still of the "homemade sign" variety here. No fancy senior jerseys, no Starbucks trailers ... although I wouldn't mind THAT item so much! =)
