It is so hot here. Is summer over yet? 108 today. Yuck.
Went to work today and did nothing...all day! We are moving to a new office building tomorrow so no one is really working on anything. While that is fun and all, it sure makes for a long day. I mean, I can only read so many blogs before even that becomes sort of boring.
I stopped by the Goodwill today and found a few WONDERFUL things. I'll post those this weekend for Thrifty Treasures Monday.
Sofia is in Texas with her Dad and Grandparents for the next few weeks, so it is very quiet around my house. I miss her a lot but I know she is having fun. We are going to talk via Skype, so that will be nice.

Speaking of Skype, do you all use it? It is wonderful. All you need is a camera with a built-in microphone and the free Skype account and presto - face to face with all your friends and family no matter where they are. We could all be "meeting" our bloggy friends any day of the week if we all Skyped. I Skype with friends in Bama, Georgia, Norway and now Texas with Sofia. It is so great!
Think I am going to start a couple of "paint" projects this weekend. I have a bed that I bought for Sofia for a whole $3.99 at the Goodwill. Right now it is bright yellow and in the garage. I am planning to paint it white -- probably. I also have 2 tables that need a visit from the black spray paint. Lots of things to keep me busy.
I am excited that in July I am going to visit my friend Elizabeth for a week at her birthday. That should be very fun. I met her in 1997 (she was my Creative Memories rep) and I soon became her friend/babysitter and later we became really great friends. She moved from Bama the same year I did. I miss her a lot and love that I get to see her usually once or twice per year. She is also an amazing cook and hostess, so what more could you ask for on a vacation!!!!
