Great American Road Trip - Part 1

Hi y'all we are back from the Great American Road Trip and boy was it fun!! BEWARE - TONS of pics to follow!

So we rented an RV from a local owner (off CL). It really was the way to go - saved a lot more than using one of the big RV rental companies. We picked it up on Thursday, packed up that night and headed out on Friday morning at 7am!

Our first stop was Four Corners. The only place in the US where you can be in four states at the same time: AZ, UT, CO and NM. It is sort of one of those hole in the wall places.

After that, we hit the road again for Moab, UT. We planned an adventure for the kids, Moab Jett Boat. It was a lot of fun. The river was too low in late summer to go white water rafting so this was a great option. We saw several herrons but no other wildlife. Still the spins and splashes were a lot of fun!

Your pics are great! Been to 4 corners. When we vacayed growing up, Mom and Dad always went West so it will be neat to re-see all the places you guys visited!

I can still hear the national Lampoon's theme song in the background! HA!
